 2010 Preseason Training

Preseason training is due to begin on Tuesday, February 9th. Please meet at the changing rooms next to Oval 3 at 6:30pm. See the directions in the "Resource Library" in the left navigation bar.

 2010 Cerberus 10s Competition

The VRU is hosting another 10s tournament  on the 13^th of March 2010 at Cerberus RUFC, repeating the successful venture held in 2009. MURC competed last year and had great fun in the process! Managing to reach the quarter final and defeating the host club was an achievement last year, and we are hoping to do better this time around! Please see the VRU flyer for more details.

Expressions of interest are needed so we can count numbers to register our team. Please email monashunirugby@gmail.com or talk to a committee member to get your name on our list!

 2010 Season

Though the VRU is still developing a plan for competition structure next year, MURC will be competing in the 2^nd Division. There is a possibility that there will be 2 grades for 2^nd Division in 2010, so we are looking to gear up for an A and B side!

The 2010 home and away season is expected to run from the end of April to the End of August. The competition structure as well as fixtures will be announced soon, and training is scheduled to begin  February 9^th. See you all there!

MURC finished semi finalists this year after finishing 4^th in the Second Division, then losing in the semi final.

Congratulations to the boys representing Monash University at the 2009 AUG, who came 6^th in second division. I'm sure they did us proud!

MURC is a proud supporter of Monash University's involvement in the Rugby 7s competition in the Australian University Games. MURC and MURC members help coordinate training and the squad's competing. Many members of the Monash University 7s squad are also members of the MURC.
